"Modern Zombies" is a 650-piece avant-garde AI art collection by Wubbushi, offering a personal exploration into the alienation of our real life identities, through the obsessions of our digital selves. This series paints the loneliness and fading individuality that friends and family experience as the artist's focus is absorbed by his need to be constantly connected with his digital world.

The feelings of loneliness and the erasure of physical identity is expressed visually in the collection, to symbolize a societal shift towards conformity and disconnection. The end result is a world increasingly dominated by a constant need for connectivity and material success, leading to a symbolic zombification of the individual.

The collection departs from the typical gory depictions of future-oriented zombie narratives; instead it does the opposite, by envisioning the 1970’s where modern life becomes zombified, highlighting the erosion of identity. The aesthetic choices such as the faded color palette, and scribbles serve as a metaphorical lens, revealing a deep-seated unrest and hidden madness at the core of modern society.

The collection debuts images from a novel AI model training process developed by the artist for this project, named 'Generation Gained'. In this method, the artist sequentially trains successive AI LoRA models using images generated by their predecessors. This iterative process, unfolding over five generations, allows for a dynamic evolution in the art’s style and substance, culminating in a distinct and haunting aesthetic that powerfully conveys the theme of lost personal connections.

The collection starkly reflect the toll our digital existence takes, revealing the emptiness felt by those around us, a sentiment amplified when we're physically present but emotionally absent.

"Modern Zombies" is a compelling portrayal of our era's profound isolation, challenging us to confront the true depth of our tech-driven seclusion.
